Caspar ISPHORDING (to USA?)
- Born: 20 Oct 1817, Attendorn, , NW, DEU
- Christened: 21 Oct 1817, Attendorn, , NW, DEU
General Notes:
Kaspar ging in 1845 als vrijgezel naar de VS:
1845: "Schreiner Kaspar Isphording (Attendorn), geb. 1817, mit Reispass auf 2 Jahre". HKO 1949 Folge 4
1845, 25 Mar: Auswanderungsgesuch des Schreiners Kaspar Isphording mit Personalangaben.
He was a widow at 21. May or may not have returned to Europe (1836-39) and came back in 1845 with Joseph and Anton. He was a cabinetmaker. (from notes by Alan Isphording)
Alan Isphording: Records show Kaspar arriving in 1836 and in 1845. I feel certain they are the same person cited above. However I have found no further record. A Caspar appears in "1660-1850 Marriage Records of the South" [327] apparently, but I have never found a copy of this book. (from notes by Alan Isphording)
Research Notes:
He may or may not have travelled, in 1845, with Anselm and his children. Records don't put them together, but are separate entries.
[327] Another Kaspar, born 30-4-1808, went to the US in 1836. ID 2970
